Is Forward Fitness really free?
Yes. Every feature is free: the workout logging, the progressive overload, the progress tracking, and the coach. No subscription, no paywall, no ads, and no card to get started.
Do I need a gym or special equipment?
No. You build your workouts from whatever exercises you want, whether that's a full gym, a pair of dumbbells at home, or bodyweight. The app tracks whatever you actually do.
How does it know what I should lift next?
It saves what you did last time and puts it in front of you on every set. Based on how those sets went, it suggests when to add weight or chase another rep. You always have the final say.
Can I use my own routine or split?
Yes. Set your weekly schedule, build custom workouts, and reorder or swap exercises anytime, even in the middle of a session. Or start from a preset split and make it your own.
What can I ask the coach?
